USA: Doctor’s license revoked for improperly touching patients

swrnn.com on March 14, 2011 reported that a well-known Valle Vista physician arrested in 2008 amid allegations he molested several female patients at his Hemet offices has been stripped of his license to practice medicine, but remains free on his own recognizance while awaiting trial. David Joseph Mata had been allowed to continue to see patients – with a chaperone present and other restrictions – but the Medical Board of California has revoked his license and a stay that Mata sought was rejected Friday.
