ibnlive.in.com on April 20, 2011 reported that a doctor and his helper were arrested here today for allegedly conducting sex determination tests on pregnant women. Dr Brij Sharma and compounder Amit Kumar were arrested following the orders of Deputy Commissioner Neelam Pardeep Kasni. Sharma was running an ultrasound clinic illegally in a rented house, police said. A police team conducted a raid and arrested the duo.
