wafb.com on April 30, 2011 reported that a doctor and his wife were arrested on drug charges Thursday night following an investigation by narcotics agents. According to the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, Dr. James Leger, 44, and his wife, Melissa, 46, were arrested at their Gonzales home. Detectives investigating the chiropractor said when they showed up at his home he met them outside. They said he was told to get on the ground and put his hands behind his back, but he wouldn’t. They reported wrestling him to the ground and handcuffing him.
