wausaudailyherald.com on May 04, 2011 reported that six civil cases that were filed against the Marshfield Clinic and former Marshfield Clinic gastroenterologist Kevin Lang have been dismissed and are being settled out of court. Lang, 48, of Plover allegedly sexually assaulted six women while they were his patients at Marshfield Clinic between 2005 and 2009. According to a criminal complaint, Lang was a doctor at the Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield when he made several patients touch him in a sexual manner while they were under the influence of anesthesia. In one case, he also took the woman’s hand and forced her to touch herself inappropriately. The Clinic was accused of fraud and negligence after it conducted an internal investigation related to accusations before 2005 but did not put measures in place to protect future patients.
