USA: Doctor denies charges in sex assault case

sbsun.com on September 01, 2011 reported that an urgent care doctor from Loma Linda University Medical Center entered a not guilty plea on sexual assault charges Thursday. Ramon Fawzi Fakhoury, 35, of Norco appeared in San Bernardino Superior Court for arraignment on eight felony counts in connection with encounters that authorities say he had with at least two female patients in July. Judge Kenneth Barr also reduced the $1 million bail for Fahkoury to $500,000. As of 2:30 p.m. today, Fakhoury was still in custody at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga and had not posted bail.
