Carol Stovell had an affair with the young offender after he was discharged from the Eric Shepherd Unit in Abbots Langley. The Nursing and Midwifery Council heard how the troubled patient, described as “manipulative and not particularly vulnerable” threw himself in front of a car when she threatened to finish with him.
