mysanantonio.com on November 14, 2011 reported that State and federal authorities investigating suspected prescription fraud on Monday arrested Dr. Richard DeBenedetto, who runs pharmacies in Kerrville and Ingram, and also charged his wife, Tina DeBenedetto. Kerrville Police spokesman Paul Gonzales said that in April his agency launched the inquiry of DeBenedetto, a medical doctor, and his Med Express firms, assisted by the Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation and the state Attorney General's office.
