myfoxtampabay.com on November 19, 2011 reported that a Bay area doctor is being held without bond at the Pinellas County Jail following his arrest late Friday on sexual battery charges. Dr. Brian Webster Cook is facing three counts of sexual battery on a minor child in his care. According to a Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office report the 50-year-old Indian Rocks Beach resident is employed as the Physician in Charge of Emergency Care at the Palms of Pasadena Hospital. Cook, a graduate of the University of Michigan’s Medical School, allegedly admitted to the crimes.
