India: Three more bogus medical practitioners arrested

timesofindia.com on November 23, 2011 reported that three more quacks – two from Jetpur taluka and one from Maliya-Miyana taluka — were arrested by the Rajkot district police on Wednesday. A resident of Sankali village Mukesh Asodairya was arrested from Pithadiya village, where he had been practising as a doctor. A class IX dropout, he was practising in the village for the last one year. The police have seized drugs, medicines and cash from the clinic and booked the accused under various sections of Medical Practitioners' Act.
