India: Doctors arrested in botched surgery case

dnaindia.com on November 24, 2011 reported that the incident of a botched surgery that took place on November 14, wherein a nine-year-old's left hand was operated upon instead of his right fractured hand, seems to have gathered momentum on Wednesday, with the arrest two of the three doctors involved. Resident doctors Jaimin Chavda and Kaushal Shah were arrested by Maninagar police, while the third doctor, Umesh Choudhary is still absconding. Choudhary was reportedly married on November 18, said sources.
