couriermail.com.au on December 07, 2011 reported that a Nurse has been banned for four years after being convicted and jailed for "serious drug'' offences in early 2009. The Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal, in a just-published decision, ordered that Anthony John Brereton, 33, not be allowed to register to nurse after being sentenced to three years' jail on charges of producing and possessing dangerous drugs. The tribunal was told Brereton was released on parole on June 17, 2009, and that the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia then brought disciplinary proceedings against him.
