Canada: Doctor gets a month suspension for misconduct

chathamdailynews.ca on December 07, 2011 reported that a Tilbury doctor is being suspended for a month and must undergo ethics training in connection to allegations of professional misconduct. The discipline committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario imposed these penalties on Dr. Robert Stewart Cameron after a hearing on Monday in Toronto. He has been a member of the college since June 1978. Cameron, who works out of the Tilbury Family Practice Walk-In Clinic, also has a future hearing regarding allegations involving a young child.
