USA: Nurse held for prescribing medicines to fictitious patient

nwfdailynews.com on December 14, 2011 reported that a 37-year-old nurse has been arrested on charges that she fraudulently prescribed medication to a fictitious patient, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s office. The Sheriff's Office began investigating Crystal Breland of Bay County on March 15 after receiving information from a Walton County hospital stating that Breland called in multiple unauthorized prescriptions for a fictitious patient to a local pharmacy, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s office.
