India: Doctor apprehended for minor boy's death

telegraphindia.com on January 16, 2012 reported that Suryakant Bisoi, a doctor was arrested today in connection with the death of a minor boy, whose parents had alleged kidney theft by the authorities of a private nursing home during a surgery. Bisoi was nabbed from College Square and had been booked under Section 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of the Indian Penal Code, said an official of Mangalabag police station. Police sources said Bisoi had done a plastic surgery on a three-and-half-year-old boy at Jagannath Hospital and Research Centre in Professorpara on December 23 last year.
