Pakistan: Two pharmacy owners released in fake drugs scam

dunyanews.tv on January 31, 2012 reported that Federal Investigation Agency released owners of two pharmaceutical companies in fake drugs case on Supreme Court orders. The released include Dr Tahir of PharamVize and Nadir Khan of Mega Pharma. Earlier, a three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Tassadduq Hussain Jillani heard the suo moto notice of deaths due to Punjab Institute of Cardiology’s medicines. Punjab Advocate General presented the investigation report, the bench after examining the report said that the report is incompelete. The court ordered the authorities to release two owners of Pharmaceutical companies and ordered not to arrest anyone till the final report to the investigation team.
