iol.co.za on February 09, 2012 reported that accused illegal abortionist Jonathan Kinane and his co- accused, Ivan Patrick Kigenyi, 32, were on Wednesday released on bail of R1 000 each in connection with a charge of fraud. The State alleges that the two Ugandans defrauded a young woman who approached them to help her terminate her pregnancy. It is alleged that the men misrepresented themselves as professional doctors. They got the woman to pay them R103 000. It is believed that the woman took several loans to help pay them for their services.
