vanguardngr.com on February 21, 2012 reported that an Ogun State Magistrate’s court 1, sitting in Isabo, Abeokuta, Monday, sentenced a 27-year-old fake medical doctor, Monday Philips, to three years imprisonment without the option of fine for forgery, fraud and stealing. The Chief Magistrate, Adebola Adenarinwo, who delivered the judgment, said evidence before the court had shown that the accused person was a fake medical doctor and guilty of the three count charge brought against him by the state prosecution. While ruling on the matter, the Magistrate said the allegation levied against the accused person of forging masters and first degree certificates, which he claimed to obtain from the Universities of Ibadan and Ilorin in 2009 was true.
