United Kingdom: Surgeon struck-off for misconduct

newstoday.co.uk on February 20, 2012 reported that a Surgeon who launched a tirade of foul-mouthed abuse at his colleagues and stormed out of an operation has been struck-off. Agency medic Mariusz Klimczyk had a blazing row with colleagues after they complained he was being too cavalier with the patient on the operating table at the Selly Oak Hospital, Birmingham. Colleagues repeatedly warned the Polish locum, who was employed at the hospital between March and May 2009, about resting his elbows on the unconscious patient’s rib cage.
