USA: Doctor arrested for violating court orders in domestic violence case

news-press.com on February 20, 2012 reported that a Naples doctor was arrested Sunday on a charges of battery and violating court orders in a domestic violence case. Andrew Martin Guidry, 48, a doctor at Physicians Regional Hospital, was charged with misdemeanor battery, violating a court injunction in a domestic violence case by possessing a gun and violating a restraining order. He was booked into the county jail early Sunday morning and later released after paying $13,000 bail. The charges accuse him of wresting the car keys from his estranged wife, Catherine Guidry, during an argument involving the couple’s two children.
