Hannah Louise Gudd was left with cerebral palsy so severe that she is blind and needs to be fed through a tube, after being starved of oxygen in the womb during her birth at the hospital on April 1 2001. Hannah, now 10, of Dodford, Northants, sued the hospitals managers, Northampton General Hospital HNS Trust, through her mother Emma Gudd, claiming negligence by hospital staff was to blame for her devastating injuries.
