naplesnews.com on February 21, 2012 reported that a Bonita Springs doctor who has a history of abusing his medical license has relinquished it. Stephen J. Kaskie this month voluntarily relinquished his license to practice in medicine, states a final order with the Florida Board of Medicine. Kaskie must never again apply for a medical license as a doctor in the state, reads the Feb. 15 order. He surrendered his license, state records say, to "avoid further administrative action." Kaskie, 61, was arrested Feb. 9, accused of unlawfully dumping biohazardous waste at the Bonita Community Health Center in January.
