surfky.com on January 14, 2012 reported that SurfKY News received information today regarding a shooting in Nashville Tenn. by a Muhlenberg County Doctor. After investigating the lead, reporters found that 42-year-old Kristy L. Garrett of Greenville Kentucky, a Doctor at the Muhlenberg Medical Center in Powderly, KY, has been arrested by Nashville Law Enforcement officers on charges of Attempted Criminal Homicide. According to Tennessee Police officials, Garrett and her husband had been staying in a hotel over the weekend and had gotten into a verbal dispute. The argument eventually led to Garrett producing a weapon and shooting her husband, David Chappell, in the chest.
